The Floor Dealer Assistant Software enables users to enter basic data key to managing a floor dealer business on a PC computer and provides a central point of control to monitor business activity. SALES LEAD GENERATION:

The FDAS software includes participation as a “Floor Dealers On Call.” Floor Dealers On Call is a web based leads generation service which enables consumers to request contact from local floor dealers.

An average of 3.5 million people search the internet each month for flooring information. Floor Dealers On Call appeals to consumers who are serious about purchasing flooring and don’t want to drive around town from dealer to dealer, or go through the tedious process of calling dealers in the Yellow pages or scan a multitude of web sites.

SALES LEAD MANAGEMENT:

Active sales leads are summarized on the Sales Lead Summary Screen providing a single focal point highlighting next actions required and assisting in revenue projections. Detail screens provide contact information, customer requirements and comments on sale progress.

Sales leads are divided into active and closed. Closed sales leads can be recalled to provide data for future sales campaigns and promotions.

SALES ORDER GENERATION AND TRACKING:

Sales Orders are summarized on the Sales Order Summary Screen to track promise dates and invoicing status. Can assist in projecting cash flow.

The data required for a complete floor industry sales order can be key entered and printed, providing a hard copy Sales Order without the need for manual notations. Order data is divided into header information, line item detail, billing and shipping screens.

PURCHASE ORDER GENERATION AND TRACKING:

Purchase Orders are summarized on the Purchase Order Summary Screen providing a single screen to highlight expediting requirements, shipping dates and invoice status. Another focus point to assist in cash flow projections.

The data required for a complete floor industry Purchase Order can be key entered and printed. As with Sales Orders, Purchase Order data is divided into header information, line item detail, billing and shipping screens.

OPTIONS BEYOND BASE SYSTEM

CATALOG SHEET DOWNLOADS:

The FDAS software includes the capability of electronically downloading catalog sheets directly to your computer where they can then be displayed and printed. Once established, this options enables users to receive catalog sheets via the internet with a simple click of the mouse. Implementation of this option requires a one time set-up with each catalog source and is limited to manufacturers and distributors who have implemented B2B catalogs.

ORDER DATA TRANSFER:

FDAS contains a data transfer function which can transfer order data to compatible accounting software without duplicate key entry. Accounting software must be capable of importing data via flat file transfer to enable this add-on option to be implemented.

FUTURE EXPANSION:

The FDAS software is also designed to expand to support the B2B exchange of purchase order transactions with participating manufacturers and distributors.
